So if you’re looking to quit smoking, you have to realize that it’s not going to be easy. There is no easy way to stop smoking. You just have to decide not to be a smoker and you have to ride out the withdrawal symptoms. They will come and they are going to be tough. There is no easy way to stop smoking but you can get a hobby to occupy your time. They say that quitting smoking is just like losing a friend or loved one. There is a mourning period that one goes through. You will have a sense of loss, you will have nightmares and you will go through times of depression and anger. You won’t be pleasant to be around and most of the time people who quit smoking retreat into a cave. Use this time wisely. Be productive. Put together model airplanes or find something else you like to do. Taking your mind off of the fact that you’re not smoking and you will get through these tough times before you know it.
Find A Support Buddy
There may be no easy way to stop smoking but that doesn’t mean you have to go it alone. Find a friend, a support buddy, who will talk you through your cravings, who will keep you up when you’re feeling down, and who will make you see that your anger and your depression are all symptoms and they will all fade. You can quit smoking and when you finally do you’ll likely wonder why you ever picked up that disgusting habit to begin with.
